PANES
2026
The series is structured as a repetition: a ritual of reconstructing perception from fragments. In attempting to possess the world, we instead distance ourselves from it, building up a glass dome separating human and outer geographies. In the Anthropocene, this reflects a condition where experience is mediated by constructed environments replacing direct ecological contact. The world becomes filtered, observed, fragmented. I propose reconstruction as an act opposing destruction.
Cyanotype technique operates as a direct collaboration with nature, sun, water, chemistry - where the image cannot be fully controlled by human, and each repetition produces variation. The series reflects a world continuously broken and reassembled.
The series is in progress, it will contain a total of 7 works.
